0970523064 2015-01-23 Production Wells No Violations I was on site to conduct a status check. The tank battery is shared between the JJ Fryfogle #1 (#20167), the JJ Fryfogle #2 (#20197), and the JJ Fryfogle #5 (#20208). Identification was posted at the tank battery and at the wellhead. The tank battery consists of one 100 bbl production tank and a 2.5 bbl brine tank on trailer. The tanks valves are sealed with a plug. A dike is present and in good repair. The wellhead is equipped with and electric pumpjack and a domestic supply line. The electric motors are disconnected at this time. Wells used for house gas only. The access road and site are stable. No violations were observed.
2145012815 2014-03-10 Production Wells No Violations I was called by Mr. Delmar Smith on 3/3/14 regarding several Berea wells on his property. He had been in contact with ONDR Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management regarding ownership of the wells. He requested that I meet with him, inspect the wells, and assist in getting the ownership status corrected. I met with Mr. Smith on 3/10/14. I learned that four other Berea wells on the property had been owned by the Smith Family Trust, and these have all been plugged. Mr. Smith indicated that his mother, Fern Smith, is now deceased, and that the Smith Family Trust no longer exists. The three existing Berea wells were not in the trust, but are on the Smith property, which was acquired by Delmar Smith and his brother Dennis from Fern Smith around 2007. The family has owned the property since around 1973, and according to Mr. Smith, the wells came with the property. The family has operated the wells since the farm was acquired. The three wells are only used to supply domestic gas to the main farmhouse on the property. I inspected the three wells. This well has an old pumpjack with a domestic line coming off the casing head. It is only pumped occasionally to remove fluid to keep the gas flowing to the farmhouse. The well has a small ID tag with the permit number on it. There is a slight gas leak between the tubing and the casing. The well shares a common tank battery with the other two Berea wells on the property. The tank battery consists of a 100 bbl production tank surrounded by a short dike. The tank has two drain lines with valves and bull plugs in place. There is no ID sign on the tank. Following inspection, I checked the RBDMS database and found that the status of the well is Historical Production Well, and the owner is Historic Owner. There are no production records, and only one previous inspection reported on 1/13/2006. There are no pending violations.
