0979328717 | 2013-08-29 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on site to witness the cementing of the 20 inch conductor casing. My inspection revealed that Precision Rathole has drilled a 30 inch hole to a total depth of 120 feet and ran 113 feet of 20 inch casing into the well bore. Allied cemented the casing with 460 sacks of Class A (2% CaCl and 1/2 pound per sack cello flake) with a density of 15.6 pounds per gallon, a yield of 1.18 cubic feet per sack, and used 5.2 gallons of freshwater per sack of mix water. They pumped 97 barrels of cement slurry, displaced with 34 barrels of freshwater, and got 25 barrels of cement returns to surface. My inspection revealed no violations at this time. |
1377806769 | 2013-08-26 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on site to witness the cementing of the 20 inch conductor casing. Precision Rathole finished drilling the hole while Allied was cementing the Mitchell 10H (on same pad). Precision tried to run the 20 inch conductor casing into the well bore. They got the casing to approximately 82 feet and the casing wouldnt go any further down the well bore. Malcolm Ashley (Drilling Superintendent) advised them to pull the casing out of the well bore and go back into the well bore and ream the hole bigger. There are two other wells on this pad to cement (3H and 5H) so they decided to cement thisconductor job on the same day as the other two. My inspection revealed no violations at this time. |
