1507076093 2017-10-03 Production Wells No Violations A follow-up inspection was conducted today with Mike Moreland, Jason Simmerman, and Kristofer Roser to document the well status and determine a potential access entry point for a service rig. The well was idle and consisted of only approximate 5 inch outside diameter casing at ground level, approximately 2 inch outside diameter tubing, and a bent rod extending above the top of tubing. The observed fluids inside the casing and tubing showed no signs of bubbling at the time of inspection. Two Rover Pipeline representatives stated that bubbling had recently been observed within the last day. Fluid was observed inside the 5 inch casing at approximately 12 inches from the top of casing. Within the immediate vicinity area around this well, a crude oil odor could be smelled and also observed within the soil. Surrounding this area were straw bales and silt fencing. The well did not contain any attached production flowlines and there was no observed production tanks or related equipment nearby. A GPS reading of the well was obtained and the location plotted approximately 35 feet away from this permit number. At time of inspection, the well was listed under Historic Owner. Additional work will be required to determine an access entry point into this well location for plugging and abandonment.

2017267858 2017-04-11 Orphan No Violations A call from Emergency Response prompted and inspection to be conducted on this well. Buffy Thompson called with concerns of anti-collision because there was going to be directional drilling under Captina Creek for a pipeline project. The fire department and the County EMA was on location during my inspection. The well in question shows as plugged in the RBDMS system, however the well is still present with tubing protruding from the surface, and there is an oil stain present on the ground around the well head. A GPS point was taken of the well and the idle and orphan program has been notified of my findings. Photos were also taken on the day of my inspection.
