1469870543 | 2019-05-01 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Falcon Rig 25 had drilled the 22-inch diameter hole to a depth of 323 feet, the base of the mine void was at 273 feet. Wyoming Casing crew ran 317 feet of 18.625-inch diameter J 55 casing at 87.5 pound per foot, with 1 foot of casing above Kelly Bushing, which is 13 feet above ground level. Cement basket was set at 249 feet. C&J Energy Services was on site and rigged up their cement head and loaded lines with 5 barrels of fresh water and pressure tested to 1500 pounds per square inch. C&J Energy Services established circulation with 75 barrels of fresh water and a 35-barrel gel spacer, washed up and then pumped 80 barrels 375 sacks of 15.6 pounds per gallon with a yield of 1.2 cubic feet per sack Class A cement mixed with 5.21 gallons of water per sack. Cement was displaced with 90 barrels of fresh water with 35 barrels of good cement to surface. Plug was bumped at 100 pounds per square inch and pressured up to 680 pounds per square inch floats held with 1 barrels of flow back. I informed Ascent company man Matt Miller that the casing must remain static until cement reaches a compressive strength of 500 pounds per square inch. |
1555262189 | 2019-04-14 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the conductor casing cement job with Precision Rat Hole top hole rig on location along with Petroset Cement Service. The well was spudded on 04/12/2019 and the rig has drilled a 30 diameter conductor borehole to a measured depth from ground level of 97. The rig inserted 99 of 24 diameter 94.6 pound per foot casing, Petroset Cement Service pumped a 52.5 barrel 250 sack class A cement mix, the cement weight was 15.6 pound per gallon and the yield was 1.18. The cement was displaced with 46 barrels of fresh water. The tin horn cellar set was 8 deep x 10 wide with no circulation or cement returns witnessed to surface. The area was reportedly previously mined for coal and records indicate 60 of mine spoil. The driller indicated the ground was hard and not previously disturbed however the fluid level never rose above 55 measured depth from ground level. The company representative Doug Bennett indicated they would top the well off from surface. |
