0300813436 2019-06-03 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection Patterson UTI had set the 18.625-inch diameter at 412 feet and was currently waiting on cement to reach a compressive strength of 500 pounds per square inch. The purpose of my inspection was to inform EQT consultant Matt Kiter to perform a casing integrity test when cement has cured to required compressive strength. After speaking with Matt, he informed me that they intend to perform the casing integrity test and will begin picking up the Bottom hole assembly for the 17.5-inch diameter section of the well.
1558466351 2019-05-20 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed American Exploration was currently on location and had set and grouted the cellar tech cellar. They were currently drilling the mouse hole on 34013213930000 and running the pipe in the mousehole for 34013213950000. After speaking with EQT Representative he informed me that they had welded the conductors on all cellars and that they should have all the mouseholes drilled and pipe set and cemented by the end of the week.
1559518692 2019-06-02 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection to witness the surface -mine string cement job with Patterson Drilling rig 292 on location along with Boss Cementing. The rig has drilled a 24 diameter surface borehole to a measured depth of 468, the #8 Pittsburgh Coal seam was marked between the depths of 360 and 370. Upon reaching total depth the rig ran several air-soap sweeps and pulled the drill string. Once the drill string was out of the hole the rig inserted 412 of 18.625 diameter buttress thread casing, casing equipment included a float shoe and collar along with 3 casing centralizers and a cement basket set at 331. All depths were measured off a drilling rig floor heigth of 28 above ground level elevation. The cement contractors cemented the casing using a 177 barrel cement mix consisting of 832 sacks of class A cement with 2% calcium. The cement was displaced to the float collar with 117 barrels of fresh water, 5 barrels over total displacement of 112 barrels. The cement plug did not land and the cement head was shut in for 8 hours to allow the cement to cure. The well circulated during the job and never lost returns, cement returns were witnessed to surface. The job started on 06/02/2019 and extended into 06/03/2019.
1559822085 2019-06-06 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection to witness the 1st intermediate cement job with Patterson Drilling rig 292 on location and rigged up over the hole along with Boss Cementing. The rig has air drilled a 17.5 diameter 1st intermediate well bore to a measured depth of 2,154 with the depth measured off a drilling rig floor heigth of 28 above ground level elevation. After reaching total depth the drill string was pulled and 2,114 of 13.375 diameter J-55 grade casing was ran with a casing float shoe and collar ran along with centralizers on every 3rd casing collar. Also noted was the bottom 385 of casing was 68 pound per foot and the remainder was 54 pound per foot. The casing was cemented by Boss Services by first pumping total hole capacity of 360 barrels of KCL water followed by 35 barrels of gel spacer with loss circulation material additives. A 365 barrel cement volume was pumped consisting of 1,785 sacks of class A cement, the cement weight was verified at 16 pound per gallon by weight of scale. The cement was designed to have a 1.12 yield and 4.78 gallon per sack water requirement. Circulation was established prior to cementing and maintained through out the job. The cement was displaced with 319 barrels of recycled fluid and 25 barrels of cement returns were witnessed to surface. The final displacement pressure was 890 pounds and the casing was pressure tested to 1,300 pounds pressure upon the landing of the cement plug. Casing floats held.
