1530933481 | 2018-09-10 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Lightning energy service had ran 110 feet of 26-inch diameter conductor pipe and cemented to surface. Lightning Energy had cut the conductor off below ground level and welded a plate on top of the conductor. After speaking with Gulfport company man Curtis Stevison, he informed me that the conductor was cemented on 9/6/2018 and there was 10 barrels of good cement to surface. |
1536092054 | 2018-09-04 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Lightning Energy was on location with a Soil Mec SR 30 auger rig. I spoke with equipment operator who informed me that they were currently drilling a 36-inch diameter well bore at 46 feet. They plan to run 30-inch diameter casing on 9/5/2018 and cement to surface. |
1551189670 | 2019-02-26 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On this day Lightning Energys top hole rig has drilled a 20 diameter x 75 deep mouse hole and set 75 of 16 line pipe. The mouse hole casing was grouted to surface through a grout string placed down the annular space. The cement top fell back to 30 and had to be topped off. 61 barrels of class A cement was used total. There are 4 wells on the pad however only the said well will have the mouse hole set. |
1552522127 | 2019-03-13 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the surface mine string cement job with Pioneer Drilling rig # 71 on location along with Wyoming Casing and C&J Cement Service. The rig has drilled a 24 diameter surface borehole to a measured depth of 420 with the depth measured off a drilling rig floor heigth of 26.8 above ground level elevation. The Pittsburgh # 8 coal seam was marked from 357 to 370. The rig inserted 421 of 87.5 pound per foot J-55 grade buttress thread casing with a isolation swell packer set in the casing string between the depths of 357 to 370, the insert on the packer is 10. Baskets were ran on the string on each side of the packer. One bow string centralizers was ran in the middle of the string. C&J Cemented the casing string by first pumping a bottom section lead cement slurry consisting of 34 barrels of class A cement with 160 sacks of cement weighing 15.6 pound per gallon by weight of scale and a design yield of 1.21. The cement was displaced with 116 barrels of fresh water chasing a cement wiper plug. The area above the upper basket was topped off in 3 stages with a 15 barrel cement mix consisting of 70 sacks of cement, the process was repeated in one hour and the topped off to surface with a 43 barrel 200 sack mix. I was off location after the 1st 15 barrel cement mix was pumped. |
1553018183 | 2019-03-19 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Status check inspection on the current well drilling process found Pioneer Drilling rig 71 on location and currently drilling the 12.250 intermediate well bore section at a measured depth of 7,370 with the top of the Lockport marked at 7,357. The company man on site indicate the top of the Clinton is approximately 8,200 and they will pull the drill string for a bit change before entering the Clinton formation. The rig and support equipment is situated on polymer containment and the well pad perimeter earthen berm servs as the primary containment. |
