1534941479 2018-08-22 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection arriving at 6:45 am to witness the mine string cement job. On location is Pioneer Drilling rig # 71 Along with C&J Cement Service. The rig has drilled a 24 diameter well bore to a measured depth of 431 with the depth being measured off a 28.6 Kelly Bushing heigth above ground level elevation. The well bore was mist drilled on air with a mine void encountered between the depths of 376 and 382, total weight on bit was lost and the well would not circulate fluid once the casing was on bottom. The rig along with Wyoming Casing inserted 431 of 18.625 diameter J-55 grade Buttress thread casing with a casing guide shoe and float collar ran along with a inflatable packer set in the string between the depths of 281 and 307. C& J Cement Service initially started the cement job by pumping 50 barrels of 6% gel spacer followed by 63 barrels of 15.6 pound per gallon class A cement. The cement was displaced with 130 barrels of fresh water which was 10 barrels over calculated displacement. The cement head was then checked and it was discovered that the cement plug did not initially drop, however the plug then fell from the cement head and began descending downward. The decision was then made to begin pulling the casing to recover the cement plug and repump the bottom balance job. The casing came right off bottom and the well was pumped down the annular side until the casing crew could arrive back on location.
1535014840 2018-08-23 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection arriving at 3;40 am to witness the mine string cement job with Pioneer Drilling rig # 71 on location along with C&J Cement service. The previous day the casing was attempted to be cemented unsuccessfully due to the cement plug not leaving the cement head and the cement being displaced over balanced with fresh water. The rig then pulled the 18.625 casing and made a clean out run before re inserting the casing. The well bore was drilled to a measure depth of 431 off a drilling rig Kelly Bushing heigth of 28.6 above grade level. The 18.625 casing was set t 431 with a swell packer in the string at 281 and 307. The mine void was encountered between the depths of 376 and 382. The casing was cemented in a 2 step process with the bottom section below the mine being cemented with a 63 barrel absolute volume cement mix consisting of 295 sacks of class A cement. The cement was displaced to the float collar with 122 barrels of fresh water. The landing pressure was 110 pounds per square inch pressure (psi) and upon landing the plug the pressure was increased until the inflatable packer opened at 460 psi, after inflating the packer the casing pressure was increased to 750 psi to pressure test the casing. Upon the completion of the bottom cement job the fluid level on the annular ide of the 18.625 was check and once it was confirmed that there was no fluid on the backside down to the swell packer the annular was grouted to surface with 78 barrels of cement with cement witnessed to surface.
