0026048659 | 2017-12-28 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed that Patterson 584 has reached a total depth of 22,194 feet with their 8.5 inch diameter hole. They have been cleaning the hole since 12/26. Mud weight is 16.3. Lazy flare onsite. Planning on running production casing 12/29. |
0989758798 | 2017-10-02 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the surface casing cement job. Falcon 26 drilled a17.5 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 1607 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 18.625 inch diameter mine string to a depth of 287 feet. Wyoming casing ran 1605 feet of 13.375 inch diameter casing, j-55, 54.5 lbs/foot. Shoe track is 44 feet long. O-tex was onsite with 1355 sacks of class H cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 50% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 236 barrels of fresh water. 35 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. 50 barrels of cement returned to surface, and floats held with 1.5 barrels back. Mix water has pH of 7 and 38 ppm chlorides. |
1202517382 | 2017-12-07 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection, Patterson 584 was drilling their 12.25 inch diameter hole at a depth of 5349 feet. They are drilling on air and do not have a flare. Hole is not making water but company anticipates it will start in the next 1000 feet or so. Company man Josh stated that their Mathena unit is occasionally spitting oil out of the stack because of a compressor issue. A replacement compressor is on its way. The containment below the compressor has 2-3 gallons of oil on it and the bags of thread protectors next to the mathena have oil spots on them. No pooling off oil containment. During my inspection, hands have brought another small containment over and laid it on the berm to catch any oil that may spray out of stack. I did not see any oil spray out and Josh said it only happens periodically. Matherna is approximately 60 feet from the northeast pad corner, along the northern berm. |
1441350300 | 2017-12-19 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found Patterson 584 drilling an 8.5 inch diameter hole at a depth of 19,800 feet. Last well on the pad. Targeted total depth for this well is 22,246. Containment functioning this date. |
1505152072 | 2017-09-11 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed Precison Rathole had augured a 36 inch diameter hole to 98 feet. 100 feet of 30 inch diameter conductor casing was run, with two foot stick up. O-tex was onsite with 360 sacks of class A cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 75% percent excess ran. Cement was displaced with 75 barrels of fresh water. 25 barrels of cement returned to surface. Conductor hole had water estimated at 25 feet from the cellar floor prior to starting job and circulation was gained upon pumping. |
1513011504 | 2017-12-11 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the second half of the intermediate casing cement job. Patterson 584 drilled a 12.25 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 8375 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 13.375 inch diameter surface casing to a depth of 1602 feet. Wyoming casing ran 8368 feet of 9.625 inch diameter casing, j-55, 40 lbs/foot. Casing was centralized. DV tool at 4505 feet. Schlumberger was onsite with 1495 sacks of class A cement. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.21. 30% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 342 barrels of drilling mud. 40 barrels of spacer pumped ahead of cement. 81 barrels of cement returned to surface. |
