0496718922 | 2017-09-11 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnesses Patterson 284 had drilled to a depth of 7266. They were tripping out of the hole during my inspection. Inspection of containment revealed no issues. Company man Ted Snelling and I performed a walk around of location. |
1499756636 | 2017-07-11 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the mine string cement job. Falcon 26 drilled a 24 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 225 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 30 inch diameter conductor casing to a depth of 100 feet. Wyoming Casing ran 216 feet of 18.625 inch diameter casing, j-55, 87.5 lbs/foot. Shoe track is 22 feet long. Cement Baskets were set at 150 feet. Void encountered at 167-177 feet. O-tex was onsite with 620 sacks of class A cement. Additives include 2% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 140% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 55 barrels of fresh water. 30 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. 23 barrels of cement returned to surface. Floats held with 2 barrels back. Mix water has pH of 7, <31 ppm chlorides and ~70 degrees Fahrenheit. |
1499932948 | 2017-07-13 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed the surface casing cement job. Falcon 26 drilled a 17.5 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 1532 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 18.625 inch diameter mine string casing to a depth of 216 feet. Wyoming Casing ran 1520 feet of 13.325 inch diameter casing, j-55, 61 lbs/foot. Casing was centralizer with 12 centralizers. Shoe track is 44 feet long. O-tex was onsite with 1330 sacks of class A cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.5 ppg and yield of 1.2. 50%excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 225 barrels of fresh water. 35 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. 35 barrels of cement returned to surface, and floats held on second attempt with 1 barrel back. Mix water has pH of 7, 46 ppm chlorides and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. |
1505912812 | 2017-09-20 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I witnessed patterson 284 drilling an 8.75 inch diameter hole at 8567 feet. This is just starting the top of their curve. I walked pad with company man Van Dietrich. Pad drains are shut in and water level is below the discharge pipe. Containment appears to be functioning as designed. |
