1470137245 | 2016-07-24 | Final Restoration | No Violations | I inspected this location as an evaluation for Final Restoration. At the time of this inspection, I walked the area of the property where historic permitting documentation indicated the well was located and did not identify any signs or evidence of a wellhead or other associated production equipment. The documented former location of the well was an animal pasture with overgrowth of grassy vegetation. I met with the existing property owners who reported that they bought the property in the early 1990s. They reported no awareness or knowledge of the existence of a well on the property. They indicated that they have never encountered anything that could be attributed to a well on the property. I researched data on the Ashtabula County Auditor which confirmed that the inspected property agrees with the permitting documentation. Dave Harker of Excalibur reports that he believed that the well was plugged prior to his acquisition but has no other documentation. ODNR contacted the previous owner in an attempt to locate plugging documentation. That request is pending. |
1743611441 | 2016-05-26 | Final Restoration | No Violations | Myself and Dave Harker inspected this well to find no evidence of the well or the tank battery on the surface. I approved the final restoration for this well. |
