1363869181 | 2018-03-13 | Production Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well pursuant to Chiefs Order #2016-300 issued for lack of insurance. The well and associated battery are located on a rural parcel. At the time of this inspection, I noted the following: a wellhead plunger-lift in a open field. The main flow-line valve was closed. The well was not in production, but there was an active domestic connection. The fittings were secure with no signs of leakage. The associated tank battery was comprised of two 210-barrel production tanks, and 2 horizontal separators. The battery is shared with the #2-3207 Novak well, located on another parcel to the north. The tanks were empty. One tank had numerous perforating rust holes. There was some oil staining around the base of the tanks from a prior release. There was a chart record box that was not active. I walked the areas around the well and battery. The areas were covered with several inches of snow obscuring the ground surface. |
1664743155 | 2016-05-04 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | My inspection found the tank battery was equipped with two 210 barrel steel tanks and two separators. The well was equipped with a plunger lift unit. There was a active domestic hook-up from the tubing head. The valves from the well to the flow line were closed. There was no identification posted at the well location. This well shares a common tank battery with permit# 3207. This well was not in production at the time of my inspection. REQUIRED REMEDIAL WORK: Post identification at the well location. |
1902893856 | 2018-08-01 | Production Wells | No Violations | I conducted a compliance notice follow-up inspection for compliance notice 16647443155 and at the request the resident at address 3569 Plymouth Ridge Road. Garrett Copeland requested an inspection due to a leaking 210 BBL tank. At the time of this inspection, the well was equipped with a plunger lift assembly and the gate valve on the tubing was closed. The 2 inch flow line off of the tubing was closed. There was a domestic line with a regulator, meter and drip bottle. The valve on the domestic line was open. The associated tank battery was comprised of two 210 BBL production tanks, and two mechanical separators. Valves on the separators were open. The tank battery was shared with well 2-3207. Both of the 210 BBL tanks had product in them. One of the 210 BBL tanks had numerous perforating rust holes and seepage of oil at the base. There was some oil staining around the base of the tanks from a prior release. I contacted Charles Moisio, contract well tender for Big Sky Energy about transferring the oil from the leaking tank to the other tank. Mr. Moisio stated that he would be onsite within the next day or two to conduct the transfer of the oil from the leaking tank to the other tank. |
