2583012 Primary Facility 2017-04-10 Incident- Response to Accident or Event No Violations Noted On 4/10/2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Robert Jones well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Brian Williams (Range). The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a incident inspection related to a spill report by Range on 4/7/17.

The operator reported on 4/7/2017, at approximately 10:15 PM, an estimated 15 gallons of hydraulic fluid was released to the graveled pad due to a faulty hose on a truck mounted casing power unit. Standing fluid was immediately cleaned up with absorbent pads and the affected gravel was scraped up and placed into two spill drums for proper disposal.

During the site inspection new gravel was noted at the location of the remediated hydraulic fluid spill. Also noted on the northwest corner of the well pad newly placed gravel which appeared to be stained. After clearing the gravel a release of used oil of approximately 2 quarts could be seen. The Department spoke to Mr. Williams which had indicated that a tru

Location inspection shows no apparent violations. NOVIO
2595386 Primary Facility 2017-05-08 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On May 8, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Robert Jones well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Derek Zofchak (Range). The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a routine inspection of the site related to a request by the operator for some minor modifications to the well development TWL for the site.

The operator has requested some farm access burials for installation of the TWL from the permanent WL at the Hibbits Impoundment to the site. The burials were reviewed in the field and approved by the Department.

The well pad and access road are in good condition.

The site is stable with greater than 70% vegetative cover.

4 wells have been drilled to TD on site. The operator was in process of installing production equipment on the well pad.

2615183 Primary Facility 2017-06-29 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On June 29, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Robert Jones well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Wendell Braddy (Stimulation Consultant). The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a routine inspection of the site related to a reported release of hydraulic fracking fluid to the well pad.

The operator reported a release of approximately 10 gallons of hydraulic fracturing fluid to the well pad to the Department by phone @ 820 a.m., on 6/29/17.

The well pad and access road are in good condition.

The site is stable with greater than 70% vegetative cover.

4 wells have been drilled to TD on site. The operator was in process of hydraulic fracturing the 7H well, stage 21, at time of release.

2738365 Primary Facility 2018-05-23 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On May 23, 2018, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Robert Jones Well pad site. The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a routine inspection of the site after a request by the operator for a restoration extension for the site.

The Act 9 sign was in place and legible.

The access road and well pad are in good condition.

The site is has greater than 70% uniform, perennial vegetative cover.

4 wells have been drilled to completion on site and are equipped for production.

The GPUs for the 4 wells equipped for production are in good condition, but are not in secondary containment as required by § 78a.64a(b). The operator will need to place the GPUs into secondary containment.

Given the condition of the site at time of inspection, the site restoration is granted until August 30, 2019.

2772083 Primary Facility 2018-09-06 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 9/6/2018 at approximately 1015, I conducted a routine site inspection of the Robert Jones Well Site located in Donegal Township, Washington County. The following was observed:
  • Act 9 sign located at the site entrance was in good condition.
  • All wells on site were clearly marked and appeared to be in good condition.
  • Production fluid/condensate tanks were within secondary containment and appeared to be in good condition.
  • GPUs on site were not within secondary containment but appeared to be in good condition.
  • Miscellaneous material was left on site which should be removed.
  • The site appeared to be stable with greater than 70% vegetative growth.

No violations were found during this inspection.

2821494 Primary Facility 2019-01-02 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 1/2/2019 at approximately 11:30, I conducted a routine site inspection of the Robert Jones well site located in Donegal Township, Washington County. The following was observed:
