2251979 2014-03-10 In Compliance with Policy An Administrative Review of this incident revealed following;

A spill incident was reported by the operator, Range Resources, on 3/8/14 at about 15:15, at the Redd, Earl site located in Amwell Township, Washington County. During the drilling of Range’s Redd, Earl 9H well a drill pipe got stuck in the well. Upon freeing, a report 5 bbl of soapy water and drill cuttings spilled on the ground.

Range’s crew immediately cleaned the area up and placed the accumulated material into the cuttings boxes already on-site.  Because the appropriate disposal units were already on-site, no additional waste manifests were created.

Upon review of all the information in relation to this spill incident, the operator performed the proper spill reporting requirements and has reported sufficient remediation at the area of release in compliance with the Departments current Spill Policy.
