1876367 Primary Facility 2010-04-01 Routine/Complete Inspection Violation(s) Noted The Department conducted an investigation in relation to a spill called in from Jim Braunns stating that Atlas excavated a pocket of condensate. The operator estimates that they lost less than 5 gallons. The operator dug a pit, lined it and placed all contaminated soil inside and covered it. WQS Steven Brokenshire and Bryon Miller responded to the call immediately on 3/31/10. I did a follow up inspection with WQS Scott Sabocheck and took EnCore samples on 4/1/10. Sample results are pending.
1880826 Primary Facility 2010-04-27 Compliance Evaluation No Violations Noted The Department conducted a compliance evaluation inspection on the violations noted on 4/1/10. The operator dug up all of the contaminated soil and placed it in a properly lined pit. After all of the soil had been removed and placed in the pit, the operator covered the pit with liner so as not to have it exposed to the elements. The violations were handled promptly and done correctly.
