There was activity the day of the inspection. Chevron was drilling on the 5H. The well signs were properly marked. The emergency notification procedures were discussed. The 2 PICs had a good understanding of the emergency procedures that Chevron established. The entrance into the site was well graveled. No mud was being drug out onto the main road. Walked around the well pad perimeter with Mr. Davis. The rig was setting casing. The company was processing the oil based mud cuttings with corn cob. The corn cob and cuttings will then be landfilled. No Pit was on the site. No spillage was noted on the site. The vegetation on the site is well established. No E&S issues were noted on the well pad. The company has one impoundment. The impoundment had greater than 2 feet of freeboard. |

The entrance road to the well pad was well graveled. No mud was being drug out onto the main road. Checked in with the guard. Walked over the impoundment and met with Harvey Horner with Nuverra. Nuverra was working on the small truck turn around pad that is adjacent and on the Northern side of the impoundment. They were adding stone to the pad. Walked over to the well pad. The well pad was inspected. The # 1 well was not marked. Please mark this well and notify this inspector when the well is marked. Large plastic pipe was being unloaded onto the well pad. No signs of spills were noticed on the well pad. |

No staining on the lined well pad was observed. |
