Dept spoke with company rep who stated plans were to incorporate cuttings into soil pile and disperse across pad.Opr will address erosion concerns by routinely monitoring this area in order to prevent pollution event due to accelerated erosion and sedimentation.Access road adequately rocked and no E&S issues were noted in relation to access road.Department recommends that Operator continues to monitor and maintain access road and well-site as necessary. | |

According to Mr. Small, on 1/23/13 a jug of antifreeze was spilled in bed of truck as it was being driven down access road. It leaked through the tailgate, resulting in a one-inch, 70 foot strip of antifreeze down the AR, totaling approximately a half-gallon in volume. Impacted gravel immediately shoveled into drum. Samples taken, will dispose of in landfill. It appears Operator handled situation according to policy and a follow-up inspection will be conducted in future to ensure full compliance. | |
