Department also noted to DSM of a possible safety concern near back side of rig, where it appears shale was placed over top electric lines and drilling equipment (see picture). During the site visit, Chevron had a release of 1 bbl. Of oil base mud on the plastic containment near the disposal boxes. Crew removed the liquid portion and was adding absorbent material to the plastic. Talked to Chad Eiserman (Chevron) about the release of oil based mud. | |
