Said well previously drilled.  Crown Rig # 8 actively drilling 6H.  Charles, DSM onsite during this inspection. Secondary containment in place beneath rig and onsite tanks. No pits installed by Chevron for drilling operations. Tanks and secondary containment look structurally sound. Appears bmp's are installed and functioning according to plan. No accelerated erosion or sedimentation issues noted with site or access road. Access road adequately rocked.Noted a "small" leak coming from Residual waste box on site, notified DSM whom stated the problem would be addressed immediately. Absorbent pads were placed in location of leak. Department also noted to DSM of a possible safety concern near back side of rig, where it appears shale was placed over top electric lines and drilling equipment (see picture).  DSM stated that matter would be addressed immediately  no violations noted.

Samples taken, will dispose of in landfill. It appears Operator handled situation according to policy and a follow-up inspection will be conducted in future to ensure full compliance.

No staining on the well pad was observed. The fresh water impoundment is now fenced in. No E&S issues were observed. During the inspection no issues were observed that need to be addresed

Said well previously drilled. Crown Rig # 8 actively drilling 6H. Charles, DSM onsite during this inspection. Secondary containment in place beneath rig and onsite tanks. No pits installed by Chevron for drilling operations. Tanks and secondary containment look structurally sound. Appears bmp's are installed and functioning according to plan. No accelerated erosion or sedimentation issues noted with site or access road. Access road adequately rocked.Noted a "small" leak coming from Residual waste box on site, notified DSM whom stated the problem would be addressed immediately. Absorbent pads were placed in location of leak. Department also noted to DSM of a possible safety concern near back side of rig, where it appears shale was placed over top electric lines and drilling equipment (see picture). DSM stated that matter would be addressed immediately no violations noted.
