2045751 | 2012-02-24 | Violation(s) Noted | Site visit was due to spud notification.
Well was drilled and frac'ed. Kriebel rig was running tubing during inspection. Access road and pad was muddy but stable. Both pit liner and impoundment liner were held in place by either metal or wooden stakes through the liner. This construction method comprimises the integrity of the liner. Pit liner should be back filled and not staked. Sed fence was used as the BMP. It also had been comprimised. Pressure from fill against the fence caused fence to tear in numerous places. Also the sed-fence was not properly installed (not properly trenched) in some spots. No accelerated erosion was taking place. These are recurring issues with Kriebel well pads and have been noted in previous inspections. |
