1833196 2009-09-24 No Violations Noted At the time of inspection, the access road was in good condition. The well was in production and properly tagged with name and permit number. The area was adequately and uniformly vegetated. No accelerated erosion or sedimentation was observed. The brine tank was in sound condition, but noted that the tank was ï¾½ full.
1848727 2009-12-08 No Violations Noted Rick Hoover and Paul Wyrwas were present for inspection. Well drilled on 3/25/09 to depth of 4950 ft. Well Completion Report submitted to the DEP. Reviewing the completion report, well meets the criteria for requirements of 78.81-78.86 (relating to casing and cementing). Well head consisted of 95/8﾿, 7﾿ and 4.5﾿ casing reduced to 2﾿. At the 4.5﾿ to 2﾿ swedge, a substantial amount of gas was leaking from the threaded connection. Leak area was starting to build up of ice. Strong gas odors were noted throughout the site pad. According to Penneco, well head pressure is roughly 900 psi with line pressure of 100 psi. Production equipment consisted of heater, separator and 100 bbl brine tank (< 20 bbl fluid). At the time of inspection, no E&S and IW issues at the site. DEP requested that Penneco repair the leak due to public health and safety concerns under 78.74 regulations.
1941533 2011-01-06 No Violations Noted Well head consisted of 8﾿ pipe reduced to 4 ﾿pipe reduced to 2﾿ production line. No signs of leakage from well head. Production equipment consisted of heater, separator (125 psi) and 100 bbl brine tank (< 10 bbl fluid). At the time of inspection, no E&S and IW issues at the site. Totalizer show 53636 MCF and 6012 MCF.
