2373168 2015-05-15 No Violations Noted On 05/15/15 at approximately 1000 hours I along with WQS Sam Steingrabe met with representatives of Chevron Appalachia LLC to discuss CFS removal at the Porter-Naylor Unit. The site had recently been graded and hydroseeded. Small sprouts were visible on the site. At the bottom right hand side of the access road nearest to the pad was a CFS that Chevron wanted approval to remove. There was a sufficient vegetative strip surrounding the CFS and I approved the removal and redlined the E&S plans in the field. Along the left hand side of the access road were CFSs that were improperly maintained due to dirt being pushed up against them. It was recommended that Chevron address these issues. There were no violations noted at the time of inspection
