Specifically sediment was being carried off the access road and deposited onto State Route 156.

Noted that the operator had re-established the water bars to convey runoff to the roadside ditch. The Department recommends that the operator additionally implement clean durable rock at the base of the access road to minimize the amount of sediment that can be generated and transported via runoff to Route 156 and the roadside ditch.
