2417605 | Primary Facility | 2015-10-21 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Wireline found bottom of 2" tubing @ 1520 feet, free top to bottom, cut at 1514 feet, pulled all tubing OOH. Wireline found bottom of 5 1/2" casing @ 1432 feet, TOC/freepoint @ 1315 feet, cut @ 1280 feet, would not come. |
2418415 | Primary Facility | 2015-10-22 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | At time of inspection, Allegheny Well Services was shut down, waiting on delivery of 1 1/2" cement string. Tried to TIH w/ 2 3/8" upset tubing cement string, could not get get below casing cut at 790 feet. |
2418540 | Primary Facility | 2015-10-07 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | AN ACCESS ROAD IS BEING CLEARED TO ALLOW PLUGGING OPS TO BEGIN. |
2425214 | Primary Facility | 2015-11-17 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Mike Graham moved onto location w/ cable tool rig, rigging up to work on problems w/ 5 1/2" casing (Allegheny Well Services was unable to get cement string all the way into 5 1/2´casing after shooting to spot next cement plug). |
2425725 | Primary Facility | 2015-11-18 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Dave McDermott (DEP) & myself visited site. Mike Graham completed rigging up cable tools and TIH w/ a swage bit to work through some problem areas in the 5 1/2" casing. After working through a few tight spots, tools sat down @ 1355 feet. They spudded there for a short while, then TOOH w/ tools to look at marks on bit. Markings indicated what looks like 3 1/2" barrel protector or liner is in bottom of hole. Hole unloaded small amount of fluid while working the tools. Will run in w/ bailer to lower fluid level tomorrow. |
2427259 | Primary Facility | 2015-11-23 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Graham cable tool rig ran 2 3/8" tubing cement string w/ 1 1/2" tubing tail (~220') to 390 feet & sat down, attempted to run deeper, but could not. Backed off last joint of tubing to set string @ 375 feet (~20 feet into 3 1/2" liner @ bottom of hole. Will spot first plug when cement truck is available. |

TIH w/ casing ripper and cut casing @ ~545 feet, TOOH w/ ripper & attempted to pull 5 1/2" casing, would not pull. Pulled tension on casing, set slips & shut down for day. |
2429597 | Primary Facility | 2015-12-03 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Cable tool rig TIH w/ another casing ripper, cut casing @ 520 feet. TOOH w/ ripper, pulled on casing, still not coming. Will go back in hole & cut again. |
2432084 | Primary Facility | 2015-12-07 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Cable tool ripped 5 1/2" casing @ 520 feet and 500 feet, but casing would not part. Plan is to run cable tools to swage casing through ripped areas preparing to run wireline to perf & cut casing. |
2436753 | Primary Facility | 2015-12-30 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | In Compliance with Schedule | Location is graded, seeded and mulched. Marker is buried. |
2447062 | Primary Facility | 2016-02-03 | Follow-up Inspection | No Adverse Event or Action Reported | Inspected site in response to an anonymous call-in that was reported to Rich Freese stating that "there are abandoned well sites that are contaminating a creek." The caller stated that "animals, fish and plants have been affected by the oil coming from the wells. There could also be abandoned barrels and drums leaking unknown oils or chemicals into the creek." Western Pennsylvania Conservancy was stated as the suspected responsible party. I inspected all five wellsites on the property and all nearby streams for leaking oil, but did not find a trace. There was no indication of animals, fish or plants affected by anything. It is important to note that there are no longer any wellhead, tanks or associated production equipment at the WPC #2, which was plugged in December 2015. |
