1326771211 2012-01-11 On site to excavate test holes in order to determine the depth to ground water. Holes were dug to the water table east, north and northeast of the well stake. The test area encountered peat under several feet of fill material. Water was encountered approximately four feet below ground level. The decision was made to excavate the pits to four feet and to place a berm two feet high around the pits with the liner extending across and over the berm.
