-1163314265 2003-07-01 CASE 03-035 The Uniontown office received a complant from Beth Ahrenze with the Portage County Health Department concering a noise and odor problem near 5110 Campbellsport Road. The noise is from Northwood's compressor station which could be heard clearly at nearby homes. I contacted Northwood and requested that the muffler on the compressor be repaired as soon as possible. I did not detect any gas odor on this day.
-192232092 2006-02-01 The Uniontown office received a noise complaint from the neighbor due north of the compressor. I contacted Northwood and requested that they evaluate and try to correct the noise issues at this site.
-605849646 2003-07-15 The noise violation has been corrected.
3779179 2002-02-21 Follow up inspection to previous complaint inspection. Northwood has corrected their ID sign. This well was labeled Drotar permit # 3413320129, this permit # was the Vasbinder #1 according to Northwood's production person. The initial complaint inspection (2-7-02) for this well is under Vasbinder #1 permit #0129. Today's inspection revealed a newly hand printed ID sign showing this well as the Drotar #1, permit # 34-133-2-0072-00-00. The compressor area is still oil stained, but absorbent material has been put down. There are no violations at this site and Northwood has addressed this inspector's concerns.
603743437 2006-01-13 The Uniontown office received a noise complaint from Mr. Don Vanaman (330-296-3502) at 5110 Campbellsport Road regarding the compressor noise from Northwood's Drotar compressor station. The same complaint occurred in 2003 and was corrected. I contacted Bill Arnholt with Northwood and requested that they assess the problem.
925789475 2007-07-12 Northwood has again corrected the noise complaint originating with the compressor engine. The same complaint is received every year from the neighbor to the north. The best solution would be to replace the gas engine with an electric motor.
