1389798599 2014-01-15 I was on location to witness a plug back cement job. Artex had Bishop Well Services and Formation Cement Company on location to set a bottom hole plug (4323-4773') and a Big Lime plug (3089-3514'). They set the bottom hole plug using 35 sacks through 1.5" tubing. The bottom of the tubing was at 4473'. Bishop Well services then pulled 38 joints up to 3514' and set the Big lime plug using 33 sacks of cement. Operator will pull the rest of the tubing from the hole and rip the 4.5" tomorrow. They then plan on pulling all of the 4.5" casing out for inspection. They will then run the 4.5" down to 1575' in order to perforate the Berea formation on Monday.
1389995405 2014-01-17 Bishop Well Services ripped the 4.5" at 2725'. They pulled all of the casing out of hole checked its condition and ran it back down to 1593'. Formation Cement Company came out and cemented the 4.5" casing using 150 sacks of Class A cement. There was good circulation of oil and the plug was down at 2:31pm. There was good cement returns and the pressure was held at 700psi for 5 minutes with no decline.
