Leak around the well head needs repaired. There is standing water around the well head, the water had oil floating on it, there were bubbles coming up around the well head threw the water. | ||||

I contacted the well tender about the issues and he was going to have the problem addressed today. No other changes to the location since my last inspection. | ||||

Spoke with John Smit, he is working on getting the spill cleaned up, has been adding bacteria to the soil to clean up oil. The ditch that runs north/ south from the well head needs contaminated soils removed, re-soiled, seeded and mulched. The well head needs a dike constructed around it, to prevent escape of fluids if another leak occurs. The drainage ditch next to the well head discharges into another ditch 70' to north of the well head. Tank battery has one 210 and 100 BBl tank one mechanical separator. Site has been seeded and graded. Well is a pump jack. | ||||
