NOTE: A recent logging operation has severely compromised the E&S controls on this well location and the access road itself. The well location is severely rutted and cannot be driven on without risking getting stuck. Some of the ruts are large enough and deep enough to pond water on the location. And the ruts which have been cut into the access road are large enough to compromise the road and allow sediment to be carried down the road during and following rain events. I am attempting to contact the landowner in order to identify the responsible logging operator and pass the logging operator's name and contact information along to the County Conservation District in order to pursue the restoration of this site and the E&S controls to their former status. |
