2341888 Primary Facility 01/23/2015 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 1/22/15, DEP met with Ken Lecker from TF Exploration relative to natural gas odors occurring along the supply line from Castine well to meter box. Odors were reported to East Taylor police and fire department on January 20, 2015. Currently, well is not supplying gas and is currently shut in. The line is under 320 psi pressure. TF ran a pressure test on the line. However, the line is 17,000 feet long. Well is currently not supplying any gas to the supply line. On 1/23/15, Ken Lecker called and pressure held for 24 hr test. No odors were recorded at knock out pot located at breast of dam and behind the residential houses. Gas was left in line under pressure.
2341912 Primary Facility 01/24/2015 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 1/24/15, DEP received a telephone message relative to natural gas odors along Mineral Point Road near residents near the breast of the dam from Tom Gleason. He stated the odors were strong in the evening of 1/23/15. DEP performed an inspection at 11:00 hrs. on January 24th (Saturday). No odor was recorded near the residents. Area has no public supply of natural gas. DEP parked behind residence at 376 Mineral Point and walked the access road to the dam. No odor was recorded on the up gradient side hill side and near dam. DEP located the above ground supply line along the down gradient side of the access road. A slight odor was noted where the supply line was located underground at the access road. The slight odor was reported to T&F Exploration. No odor was reported inside of any structures.
2341933 Primary Facility 02/02/2015 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 1/26/15, DEP met with T&F exploration relative to odor complaint. The supply line was installed above ground as per request of the Water Authority and was moved due to new water lines installed in the area. The line was inspected from knock out tank to the upper access road located on top of the hillside. No leaks were recorded. The line was inspected along the upper access road. A slight odor was noted where the line trends from underground to the aboveground at the access road. On January 27th, East Taylor fire department received a call of natural odors along Mineral Point Road. DEP called T&F Exploration and requested to drain the supply line located near the resident houses. On January 28th, T&F vented the supply line at the well head. To date, no complaint of odor has been recorded. DEP inspected the line and no odor was recorded.

A section of steel line was pressure tested and it was determined that a hole was located in the section of pipe. The underground section was replaced with a poly section of pipe.
