Cement basket was set at 136 feet. Stratigraphy consisted of coal, shale, sandstone, and limestone. During site inspection, no E&S or IW issues at the site.

No freeboard issues were present. Conductor pipe (20”) set to 36 ft. (sanded). Mine protection pipe (13 3/8”) was set at 238 ft. and was cemented with 270 sacks of Type I with 7 bbl. return. Cement basket was set at 136 feet. Water was recorded at 320 ft. and 370 ft. depth. Groundwater protection pipe (9 5/8”) was going to be set at 462 feet. During site inspection, no E&S or IW issues at the site.

Drilling rig on-site and actively drilling at time of inspection.Operator did not install and implement second culvert closest to well site as indicated on E&S plan; however, since no evidence of accelerated erosion was noted, culvert did not appear to be necessary at this time.Department suggests that in the future, any changes to the E&S plan be marked on plan prior to construction. Department also recommends that Operator add rock to culvert inlet and outlet and clear sediment out of culvert pipe to ensure minimal erosion and optimal functioning of the BMP.

Areas next to access road were temporarily stabilized with observed vegetative growth. Department recommends that Operator continues to monitor and maintain access road as necessary.Below-grade pit located on-site, 2 ft frbrd ok.Opr plans to encapsulate drill cuttings.
