-134879152 2015-03-27 Inspected production well on 03/27/2015 at the request of Steve Opritza and John Austin. The well is equipped with a wellhead with a swedge, elbow, pressure gauge (showing 45#), and regulator. No well identification is posted at the well, nor are any tanks located nearby. The landowners (located at 17640 Island Rd.) indicated that they use the well part of the year, and use propane when it runs out; therefore the well may qualify for domestic status. They also stated that they submitted the packet of paperwork previously sent to them by Columbus to Jason Martin with Columbia Gas; a second packet was received from Columbus earlier in the week. They also stated that they are happy to work with ODNR DOGRM to get the well registered and insured, however they would like the annual fee waived, as the well was purchased so long ago (1982).
1799861540 2014-08-13 Inspected production well on 08/13/2014 at the request of Steve Opritza. The well is equipped with a wellhead with a swedge, elbow, and pressure gauge. The well is currently listed as owned by Columbia Gas Transmission, who reported transferring the well to the landowner sometime in the 90s. The landowner admitted to owning the well; domestic well ownership paperwork should be sent in order to get the well properly registered.
82561761 2013-02-04 I inspected Columbia Gas Transmission storage well # 20151 today. The well is located in the Wellington Storage Field, Grafton Township, Lorain County, Ohio. The well is equipped with a main valve, side valve with a 3.00 line plumbed to the drip tank. There is a 1.00 line from the drip tank to a 10 BBL storage tank and also a 1.00 line plumbed to a domestic meter. The well is properly tagged and is identified with a clear, legibly marked well identification sign mounted to the drip tank. No violations found.
