2346404 2015-02-24 No Violations Noted Routine Pre-Operational Inspection 2/24/2015; cold (below zero) and sunny. I arrived onsite at 07:54 for a routine inspection. The access road was completed but was predominantly covered with snow. The pad was nearly complete and a bulldozer was being used to rip material to be removed from the impoundment and excavator was being used to break frost. The contractor noted that limestone top-rock should be applied to the pad sometime later in the week. All perimeter E&S controls were installed although most were covered with snow. Previously disturbed soils were stabilized with straw mulch. This inspection fulfills the pre-operational inspection requirement of the O&G Act as amended by Act 13. No Violations Noted.
