2160813 | 2013-04-22 | No Violations Noted | Site inspection the result of a citizen complaint filed with the Department on 4/19/2013. The complaint consist of excessive water run off with an "oily" sheen. Upon further investigation of the plugged well and surrounding area the Department found that the excessive water was most likely caused by a newly built structure which encountered a naturally occurring water table. The "oily" sheen appears to be caused by iron bacteria. |
