1167011277 2014-06-19 I was on location to check the status of Advent Drilling preparing to spud the well. They are currently drilling the mouse hole for the well and expect to spud the well later this afternoon. The location is located in a low spot of a cornfield and has a large quantity of water and mud on location. There is no erosion or runoff leaving location. There are no violations at this time.
1398818660 2014-06-24 I was on location to witness the cementing of the production casing. A 7.825" diameter hole was drilled to 5533', and new 4.5" OD, 11.6 lb/ft Limited Service casing was installed to 5524'. During the initial attempt to cement the casing, the latch down plug did not launch from the cement head. The decision was made to circulate the cement out of the hole and bring in another load of cement to re-pump the cement job. Petroset Cementing reset the plug in the head and another bulk truck was brought onto location. 200sks of cement (Class A, 2% CaCl) were pumped and displaced with 86bbls of fresh water. The latch down plug bumped the latching baffle, and the casing was pressured to 1500psi and held for 5 minutes. The pressure held and the cementers were released. Advent drilling will be moving to a location in Mahoning County.
219178133 2014-06-20 I was on location to witness the cementing of the surface casing. A 14.75" diameter hole was drilled to 705' by Advent Drilling, and the 11.75" OD, 42 lb/ft limited service casing was installed to 689'. Two centralizers were installed on the casing string. The casing had to be worked up and down several times before being run to bottom due to a ledge present in the hole. Petroset Cementing Services pumped 370sks of cement (Class A, with 3% CaCl) and was displaced the cement with 80.5 bbls of fresh water. There were full returns during the entire job and 19 bbls of cement were returned to surface. The rig will wait on cement for eight hours before beginning to drill the 7 7-8" diameter production hole.
