-1696362832 2013-06-24 The Orphan Well Plugging Contractor currently working on this property discovered two additional wells that were not placed on the current plugging contract. An inspection of this well revealed 8" outside diameter drive pipe with 5.63" outside diameter casing equipped with a standard rig style wellhead attached with fittings and a bull plug. A fitting with an approx 3' section of 2" tubing (threads at top) rested on the top inside of 5.63" casing (See Photo). Removed from wellbore and confirmed no additional tubing attached. A gas detector equipped with an automatic pump, attached to a probe with a filter was placed inside the wellbore and showed no detection of gas. There was no visible pollution and contamination at the surface surrounding the immediate well location only oilfield debris. The debris consisted of 1' section of casing, steel fitting, and sections of above ground 2" steel. An approximate 15' section was observed along the bank was routed across the diversion ditch and remaining two sections were rotted around the immediate well location were approx 1'-3' in length. The well situated on property designated as pasture field and located approx 50' away from a diversion ditch. A dead tree located 3' away would need cut away for rig setup. A GPS reading was obtained and recorded for the well. The well location was researched and determined that a permit number would need to be assigned. Central Office was notified of well status.
