The valve used to equalize the two 100 bbl tanks was closed and the primary tank overflowed and released oil and brine into the dike. Most of the released oil was cleaned up, after the spill was reported by the former pumper. Residual amounts of oil were present upon inspection. Clean up operations have been hampered due to excessive amounts of rain during this spring and summer. Recommended that clean up continue.
