-1522366005 2013-03-05 At the time of my inspection, 1.5" tubing was ran to 740' and the well was flushed clean of any remaining oil. There were trace amounts of oil remaining and no gas was evident. The decision was made, with the approval of Orphan Well Director Gene Chini, to plug the well from at this depth. See Plug Report for details.
-1860970462 2013-02-25 At the time of my inspection a service rig was set up on the well, but no operator or activity on site.
-790705182 2012-03-27 Inspection to update GPS and well status for a potential Orphan Well Package. At the time of my inspection the well had 8"conductor casing and 6" surface casing with casing head. Thick oil inside 6" casing about 2 feet below ground level. No rods and tubing visable at wellhead. Rocks and other oilfield debris just noth of well and another large pile of rocks and debris about 200' to the southwest.
1362495794 2013-03-04 At the time of my inspection an obstruction was encountered in the wellbore at 745' with the bailer. The well had no rods or tubing in it when work began. The surface casing had failed allowing fresh water into the wellbore. The formation at 745' is a mix of shale's that is known to swell with the introduction of fresh water, isolating the Trenton formation at 1150' from the bottom of the Big Lime at the bottom of the Surface casing. There was less than a barrel of oil in the well that was removed with a bailer. Work was stopped for fear of losing tools in the swelled shale.
1363096984 2013-03-07 At the time of my inspection the well was cut off and plated four feet below grade. The hole was filled in but the remaining debris around the well site will be removed as the weather allows.
1369055664 2013-05-16 At the time of the inspection the area had been graded back for farm use by the plugging contractor. The site is currently being planted by the landowner. Final Restoration Passed.
1588391862 2013-03-01 At the time of my inspection there was no activity on site.
2136925547 2013-07-16 An inspection of the Final Restoration revealed compliance with Ohio Revised Code 1509.072. The well site was situated on a location designated as agricultural field. An interview conducted with the landowner, Mr. Tim Sautter, at his residence confirmed that he was satisfied with the restoration of the property to include wells located within field crop.
