1410591135 2003-04-21 I received a call from the Ravenna Township Fire Department and Supervisor Cheslock on Saturday 4/19 at 11:30 am concerning a natural gas leak at the intersection of Peck Road and Lake Rockwell Road in Ravenna Township, Portage County. The pipeline in question is owned by Oxford Oil. The nearest Oxford well to this intersection is the Seaman #1. I contacted Oxford's pumper Dallas White (330-719-6359 cell) who responded to the leak and shut the wells in. On 4/21, I inspected the well and the tank battery and found oil and brine contamination inside of the tank battery dike. The three Seaman wells (P-2679, P-2680 and P-2681) share a common tank battery. The bottom drains in both of the 210 bbl tanks were leaking. I notified Oxford that in addition to repairing the pipeline, the dike area needed to be cleaned and the drains repaired. 9-1-07
