1064865694 2003-09-29 9-27-2003 Received a call from Jim Irwin (OEPA) regarding a complaint in Lawrence Twp. from Ken Stenger (330-837-1370), 3344 Alabama Ave.

9-29-2003 Met with Ken Stenger. He showed me where a new house gas line was being installed and where the flooded excavation trench had flowed an oily sheen on surface runoff across his property. The adjacent property owner (Shawn Scully) was connecting house gas to his new home and had trenched through one of the old drilling pits on the property. I met with Shawn Scully (330-830-9381) at the new house located at 3196 Alabama Ave. I informed him that he needed to pump out the water in the trench and close the trench as soon as possible to resolve the problem.

There were no violations at the wellhead or at the tank battery.
