-1501266602 2008-04-14 A follow-up inspection revealed compliance.
-241418827 2008-02-04 An inspection was conducted in response to a complaint received alleging non-production (Please refer to admin inspect on 1/28/2008). During the inspection, it was noted that all surface equipment was located on-site. Records show production from 2006 back to 2002, when the ownership of this well had changed. The discrepancy noted was that, in the production records, Carter Oil & Gas shows production from 2002 to 2004. Both Carter Oil & Gas and Chesapeake show production for 2005 and 2006. RBDMS shows only 1 change of owner for this well. In 2004 ownership changed from Eastern Mountain to Columbia Natural Resources. The complainant was contacted on 2/5/2008 and informed of the inspection results and that Chesapeake would be contacted by telephone. Pat Turkit with Chesapeake Appalachia in West Virginia, was contacted regarding complaint and inspection results. She informed DMRM to contact a number in Ohio regarding this issue. An attempt to dial this number was not successful. The number provided was not valid and had been disconnected. The contact information for the pumper of this well, Ms. Sue Hill was obtained from a company in Hocking County. In a telephone conversation with Ms. Hill on 2/11/2008, she states that this well has been down for almost 3 years. She was informed that Chesapeake will be required to plug or produce this well. Furthermore, Ms. Hill stated that she would pass this information along to her boss, Mr. Greg Shingleton. NONE

-938169167 2014-08-26 I received a call from landowner Darrel Derr. His concern is the well is not in production. The well was granted temporary inactive status. The temporary inactive status is up September 9, 2014. I have contacted Brian Hecker with Chesapeake Appalachia, the well owners. I have instructed Brian to plug the well or repair and produce the well. I also told Brian the temporary inactive status would not be able to be renewed.
1035950340 2008-01-28 On 1/28/2007, Congressman Zach Spaces' office, located in Zanesville, Ohio, contacted the DMRM and left a message regarding their constituent, complainant, in Hocking County. Congressman Spaces' office stated that a Chesapeake Appalachia well located in Hocking County is not producing. Furthermore, stating that constituent is not receiving royalty payment. Contacted Congressman Spaces' office on 1/28/2008 and spoke with Nancy Harvey. She stated that they have tried to work with the company, but nothing has been done. An attempt to visit with the complainant and obtain well information was not successful. A business card was left for the complainant. On 1/31/2008, the complainant contacted the DMRM. The complainant states that the Rushcreek Valley Fuel #2 well has not been producing for almost 3 years. The complainant was informed that an inspection would be conducted the week of 2/4/2008. In addition, the complainant was informed that royalty payments will be a civil issue with the company.
