I performed a random field inspection. Both the tank battery and the well were GPS'd. I walked around the tank battery and found it to be in good shape. The ID sign was posted. There were no violations at this time.

I received a call from oil & gas attorney Anthony Jesko (330-533-6869) in regards to suspected idle well on client Wayne Grier's property, 11421 Washingtonville Rd, Salem OH. This well is equipped with a plunger lift system and the main valve on the well head was open. There were no leaks or spills around well head. The tank battery is overgrown with weeds and mutliflora rose and the dike is deteriorated to almost non existent. Components of the separator are falling off and there is no chart in the gas meter. There is approximately 2' of fluid in the stock tank and there are no leaks or spills around the tank battery. Identification signs are posted but they are blank. No production has been reported for this well since 2007. Multiple violations on this well.
