Due to snow cover, compliance with 25 PA Code § 102.22 (a)(2)(i) Permanent stabilization could not be verified at this time. 25 PA Code § 102.22 (a)(2)(i) states for an earth disturbance activity or any stage or phase of an activity to be considered permanently stabilized, the disturbed areas shall be covered with a minimum uniform 70% perennial vegetative cover, with a density capable of resisting accelerated erosion and sedimentation. A follow-up inspection will be conducted to determine if this site meets the stabilization requirements when field conditions allow. |

The weather was 72 degrees, cloudy, winds N 11mph. Present for the inspection was myself and Korey Starkey, DEP Env Trainee.
The access road, well pad and E&S controls were observed. An adequate site ID sign was observed at the entrance to access road. The well pad appears to be in production, however, all pressure gauges attached to production equipment registered 0 PSI, so the wells do not appear to be producing at this time. One rolloff tank was observed on secondary containment located on the southern corner of the pad. All puddles on the pad surface were screened for field conductivity and found to be <1000 uS/cm. The area surrounding the pad appeared stabilized by >70% vegetative cover. No erosion or sedimentation was observed. No violations are noted at this time. We departed the site at 1245 hours. |
