Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2726731 Primary Facility 2018-04-30 Routine/Partial Inspection No Violations Noted At the time of inspection, well has been producing. There was a pump jacked which was hooked up to electricity onsite. The wellhead was covered up with a tarp. A sheen was seen on the rods. The well had a pressure relief valve hooked up and the valve for that was open. The valve leading to a steel tank was closed. Based on some oil staining at the top of the tank, it appears it had overflowed and and oil had traveled downhill into a depression, which is acting as an earthen dike. Some cleanup may have already occurred, but some more work should be done to clean this up to avoid a violation. Production data has never been reported to the Department. Please start doing so using the DEP's Greenport website. Contact me if you have any questions with this.
