Orphaned well was located in a right of way for the power lines in waist deep weeds. The valve that was on top of the casing was broken off and open to the atmosphere. Tested the well with an Altair 5x gas meter and 0% combustible gas was detected coming from the well or annulus. Water could be observed in the casing annulus but no cement was visible at surface. No violations noted at time of inspection. |
