| On 1/31/2014, the Department conducted an Inspection at the Chevron Appalachiaï¾’s Rosul Well Units 5H and 6H site in Washington Twp., Fayette County.
+
| On 02/18/16 at approximately 1100 hours I conducted a complaint inspection of the Rosul Unit. The Act 9 sign was in place and all required documents were present in the mail box.

The Act 9 site ID sign was in place and legible.  The E&S plan and PPC plan and permits were inside the mailbox.

The access road to the site was in good shape but snow covered.

The site was guarded.

The water impoundment had 2 foot of freeboard but was getting fairly full. The operator is reminded to continue to monitor the water level in the impoundment to ensure the 2 foot freeboard level is maintained.
+
The site was well vegetated and there were no signs of erosion and sedimentation. The wells appeared to be in good condition and there was no evidence of a release from the site. There were no diesel fuel storage vessels on the site.

The sed trap on this site looked to be functioning.

Recent disturbed ground on the soil stockpiles had been mulched.

No E&S issues were seen.  The site was snow covered.
