| Inspection of the Frank Galushka TPC 10 (069-20005) gas well in Newton Twp., Lackawanna County was conducted February 27, 2017 at 11:04 am. The well is visible from the road, surrounded by a tree, next to a driveway to a structure on Cherry Hill road. At the time of inspection; the well had an 8 5/8” casing collar just above grade, 7” casing inside with a 7”x 2” casing swedge and a 2” master valve open with a vent pipe straight up in the air about 10’. No gas detected in the annulus. The well has “Plugged” status, but no documentation verifying that. Planning to return with a ladder to check for presence of gas in the 2” vent pipe. Casing, valve, and vent were rusty. Well record is on file. No obvious immediate concerns.
