| My inspection found the well in production. The well was equipped with a plunger lift unit. The tank battery consisted of a 100 barrel production tank and a heat, treated separator. All of the production equipment and well were surrounded by chain link fences; however, part of the fence surrounding the well was lying on top of the plunger lift. The dike was completely weathered and not capable of meeting containment requirements. A partially pealing and worn identification sign was posted on the production tank. I noticed a small gas leak coming from inside the separator. A bull plug was installed on the load line on the production tank. The lease road was in stable condition with a locked gate at the entrance. The well was placed into production prior to House Bill 278. Mr. Mark Grabigel, Environmental Affairs & Utilities Manager, accompanied me on the inspection. I instructed Mark to repair the fence at the well, build a new dike at the production tank, update the identification sign and to fix the gas leak inside the separator. A follow-up inspection will be performed by 6/16/2014. | | My inspection found the well in production. The well was equipped with a plunger lift unit.
