| On April 10, 2013, I stopped at the X-man site for a follow-up inspection.  I found the E&S controls in better condition than during my March 12th inspection; however, I still some concerns.
 +

 +
First, some of the fiber matting appears to have been placed so runoff could get under them.  This raises the potential that storm water could impact the controls.
 +

 +
Second, the E&S controls in the northwest corner of the pad are still damaged from the winter.  Rice must make the necessary repairs in this area.
 +

 +
I will follow-up with Rice on these issues.

| On June 7, 2013, I met with Tanya Winkler and Joe Mallow of Rice Energy at Riceï¾’s X-Man site for a follow-up inspection.
 +

 +
The sediment traps on the front (west) side were cleaned-out and maintained; much of this area had been re-seeded and erosion mat placed down.  The ditch beside the access road was seeded and matted and in some place extra rock added.  The ditch on the east side of the pad was rocked and the gullies below the drainage pipes repaired.
 +

 +
Rice did extensive work on the north side of the pad.  Gullies were filled, rock placed and new silt sox installed.

 +
The wells have individual well tags.
 +
 +
I found no problems during this inspection.
