-616827636 2006-04-13 The last reported production from this well was in 1995. The well must either be placed back in production or properly plugged and abandoned. Common tank battery with the Firestone #3 (P/N 824) and the Firestone #5 (P/N 826). NONE
-832407546 2007-07-21 Arvilla attempted to unseat the packer and pull the tubing. The packer would not release and the tubing parted at 2485'. Arvilla ran another R-4 packer 30' into the hole to shut off the brine flow. Plugging activity will begin on Monday morning.
1185813528 2007-07-19 I received a call from Richard Jones (330-697-3818) reporting an active brine spill behind the Firestone Polymer complex at 381 Wilbeth Road. The leak occurred in the 4-1/2" casing just above the 8-5/8" casing head. Plant employees noticed the leak earlier this morning. J&M Water Service and Kenmore Construction were on site to recover brine and dig a containment pit respectively. An Arvilla service rig should be on site Friday or Saturday. Plugging operations will commence as soon as the 2-3/8" tubing is removed. Brine continues to flow to surface and there appears to be communication with an abandoned Cargill salt solution mine cavern.
1439641202 2007-08-01 The containment pit and the well have been closed and graded. Several trees have lost leaves and will checked later in the year to see if they refoliate.
1621563449 2007-07-20 Arvilla will be on site late today and is planning on unseating the packer and recovering the 2-3/8" tubing on Saturday. The brine flow continues and is contained in the recovery pit. J&M will continue to haul water as necessary.
1680523426 2006-07-18 Firestone is reported to be obtaining a plugging permit for this well. The plug or produce NOV is still open. NONE
1840488831 2013-07-23 No indication of well equipment, access road, or tank battery.
211854467 2007-07-30 Arvilla was on site to cut off the surface casing and place the ID plate on top. There was a small natural gas leak between the 4-1/2 and the 8-5/8 which will be monitored. The gas probably originates from the Ohio shale. Communication with the Cargill salt cavern has been controlled. The outstanding violation has been corrected.
