Well head has been installed, well is a rabbit well. Operator has solidified the working pit. Blow pit to the east of the working pit has not been solidified or closed. Pit linear has slipped from all sides of the pit. North end of the pit landowner has enlarged the pit. The pit is on a hill, the backside of the pit was checked, there was no indication of brine release down the hill. East of the pits and south of the pits approximately 6 small maple trees 10'-15' & 2"-3" in diameter were showing signs of distress. Leaves were browning out. I spoke to Dan Horning on site, the trees could either be stressed from brine leaching into the soil or from drilling. Dan and the landowner was informed that they area was not suitable for pits to be cut and squeezed. Blow pit must be solidified and closed.

On site with Ed Schultz and Dan Horning from Hall and Horning. Also on site with Jay Cheslock DMRM supervisor. Lease road going down hill to the tank battery is not stable, it has rill erosion and gully erosion forming. Lease road is washing out from the top of the hill to the bottom. Sediment is being deposited at the bottom of the hill by a stream. Slope will needs stabilized, lease road needs to be constructed out of durable material. Suggested to operator that water bars may help slow the water. Diverting water at the top of the hill will also slow the velocity of the water. Tank battery is at the bottom of the hill. Operator is using a load line from the bottom of the hill to the top to of the hill to unload brine from the tank. Operator was advised to make repairs as quickly as possible. Well site is stable, vegetation is established.
